We met Alisha at the Villain Arts Philadelphia convention where she tattooed our former Marketing Director. Her first two tattoos shown to the right won best of show at the Northern Ink Xposure Toronto Tattoo Convention (2017) and the Villain Arts Louisville Tattoo Convention (2017), respectively. She has created our new logo and redesign for packaging, and we couldn't be more excited. Alisha, we're honored to have you on the team, and we look forward to seeing what you have in store for the future. Alisha's Instagram account can be found here.
Ben Kaye has absolutely been killing that photorealism game for quite some time now. His Pickle Rick was arguably the tattoo of 2017. Co-owner of Ship Shape Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand, Ben has been traveling and doing conventions all across the world. Can't wait to catch you at one homie. He has an Instagram duh.
Ben is an artist out of Black Anchor Collective in Hesperia, California, arguably one of the best tattoo shops in the country. The level of art coming out of this studio is just mind blowing. And Ben is a huge contributor to that. His character tattoos are beautiful and among some of my favorites. Visit his Instagram page here.
In August of 2017 we met Eva at the Seattle Tattoo Expo. She was a super-sweetheart, and invited us to join Ulyss Blair and her in their booth at the DC Tattoo Expo the upcoming January. We had a great time with the both of them, and knew we had to add Eva to our team. We're very proud to have you onboard and look forward to being at a convention with y'all again.
Pony is the co-owner of Mayday Tattoo Company and Mayday Tattoo Supply in Chicago, IL. We first met in California, while we were out to eat with the fine folks from Fusion. He thought a dirty joke I told was hilarious. Probably because he's a pervert. And the rest was history.
You can peep some of his amazing color realism (and other styles obviously, he's no one-trick Pony) at his Instagram here.
While Ruby and I only met briefly in Puerto Rico and Philadelphia, we started chatting via Facebook and Instagram. She makes what she'll describe as dark, illustrative, botanical tattoos. And she does it quite well. Frankie had a chance to sit down and talk with Ruby, you can read their interview here. And view more of Ruby's work at her Instagram here.
My buddy Vic introduced me to Saga at Musink one year, and he was just a super humble and down to earth guy. Then I was just blown away by his work. He specializes in color realism, focusing on full panel high saturation tattoos with photorealistic, abstract, and painterly elements. We're excited to have you onboard. Saga's Instagram can be found here.
I first met Shadow at Musink Tattoo and Music Festival in March of 2016. We stayed in touch and I found that we were talking often. He's always striving to improve his art and his business, and has been a huge inspiration to me. As owner of Inkfam Tattoo and Piercing Gallery in Indianapolis he has given back to the community through clothing drives and is planning a huge Thanksgiving for local families in need. View his Instagram and Snapchat at ShadowInk.
Can we take a moment to talk about how bad-ass Shannon Perry is? She owns the amazing Valentine's Tattoo in Seattle and provides lead vocals for the band Gazebos. Our team met Shannon at the Seattle Tattoo convention in 2016 and instantly fell in love with her and her work. We're so proud to have her on the team. Instagram here.
Vic starting tattooing me in 2013 and is someone I consider a friend. He is a strong believer in SecondSkin and has been integral to its initial success. Born in France and raised in Utah, Vic and his wife co-own one of the best shops in the state, 27 Tattoo. He excels at realism, hyper-realism, Japanese, and portraits. Find his Instagram here.
